Disabling the HTTPS connection

HTTP is not a secure connection. Disable HTTPS only if there is no other option.

notice

If you disable HTTPS, passwords, projects, etc. can be intercepted by third parties. Make sure that the connection is protected from unauthorised access in other ways.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You are logged in as administrator or you have the right to edit the web server settings.
  3. You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
  4. The HTTPS connection is enabled.
  1. Click Network & internet.
  2. Click Web server.
  4. Click ˅.
  5. Click Disable HTTPS.
  6. A dialogue box is opened.
  7. Click OK.
  8. A dialogue box is opened.
  9. Click Close.
  1. The HTTPS state is displayed as OFF.

What to do next

Reopen any u-create web tab using http:// instead of https://.
