Restoring the device

The firmware version of the device from which the snapshot was created and the firmware version of the device to which the snapshot is restored must match.

Before restoring a large snapshot, we recommend to reset the controller to factory settings.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You have created a snapshot.
  3. You have reset the controller to factory settings.
  4. You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
  1. Click Recovery.
  2. Click Restore snapshot.
  3. A file dialogue is opened.
  4. Open the snapshot from your file system (.ucb).
  5. A dialogue box is opened.
  6. The restore is started.
  1. The restore is completed by restarting the device.
