Setting the system time

You can set the system clock manually or via an NTP server.

The system time must be set correctly in order to access online resources such as the Node-RED palette or the app hub.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
  1. Click General.
  2. Enable NTP to set the system clock automatically via an NTP server or enable Manual to set date and time manually.

    You can enter a publicly useable NTP server, e.g. pool.ntp.org or time.google.com.

  4. If you choose NTP, enter the desired NTP server in the text box.
  5. If you choose Manual, set date and time in the text box.
  6. Click Apply.
