Updating an app

Some apps cannot be updated via the app hub, e.g. the CODESYS runtime app. Update these apps via offline installation.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. The controller must be connected to the internet in order to update an app.
  3. You are logged in as administrator.
  1. Click Apps.
  2. Click on the app you want to update.
  3. Click Check for update.
  4. If the version is up-to-date, a message that you have installed the latest version is displayed.
  5. If a new version is available, a list box is displayed.
  6. In the Version list box, select the version of the app you want to install.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Update.
