Working with the device configurator in the IO Configurator
You can configure the system bus of a u-control station via the device configurator.
The device configurator can be used for:
- Adding u-remote modules to the u-control system bus
- Parameterising the modules
When using u-control automation controllers, please also observe the manual Controllers u-control.
When using u-remote I/O modules, please also observe the manual u-remote I/O-system.
When using safe I/O modules, please also observe the manual Modules for functional safety.
You can only use the IO Configurator if you have not installed a third-party app that actively uses the system bus.
If you have installed a third-party app that actively uses the system bus, the IO Configurator on the starting page is disabled.
