Disabling network interfaces
You can set network interfaces to disabled or enabled. By default all interfaces are set to enabled.

A disabled interface results in the following consequences:
● No IP address is assigned to the port.
● No IP based traffic is sent or received (TCP, UDP, HTTP etc.).
● All active IP based connections on the interface are disconnected.
● A physical Ethernet link remains active. The port LED indicates the link status as normal.
● Protocols operating on raw Ethernet frames are not affected and continue to function, e.g. EtherCAT.
- You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
- Click Network & internet.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Navigate to the desired interface you want to disable.
- Clear the checkbox next to Enabled, to disable the interface.
- Click Apply.
