Disabling the removable media update

After the initial setup, removable media updates are disabled by default to help keep your system secure. Keep the feature disabled unless you need removable media updates to minimise potential security risks.

  1. You are logged in as administrator.
  2. You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
  1. Click Software & updates.
  2. In the section Removable media update, click Disable.
  3. Click Disable.
