Updating a device via removable media update

For increased security, use signed updates. By default, removable media updates require signed updates once the initial user has been created. The controller will verify the signature before applying the update.

Keep the USB stick connected throughout the update. Otherwise, the controllermay enter an undefined state.

  1. You have prepared a removable media with a signed update file.

  3. You are logged in as administrator.
  4. Removable media update is enabled.
  5. Removable media update verification is enabled.
  1. Insert the USB stick into the controller.
  2. Green/yellow flashing LED: The update is started.
  3. Red LED: Check the logs on the removable media.
  4. Green LED: The update is finished.
