Changing the network settings

notice

Make sure that your network configuration is valid. If your configuration is invalid, you might lose network access to the device. In this case, a reset of the network settings is necessary. All ethernet ports in u-OS are independent network interfaces which do not provide switch functionality between each other.

notice

Only enter IP addresses that are outside the Docker network. IP addresses within the Docker network can cause problems with apps in u-OS. In the delivery state, the range of the Docker network is located at 172.16.0.0/12. If you have changed the Docker network range, enter IP addresses outside the range you have set.

notice

Enter a maximum of 3 DNS servers for all network interfaces together. If you enter more, problems might occur with the name resolution.

notice

For an overview of the default IP addresses, see Overview of the communication interfaces.
