Resetting the controller to factory settings
This function allows you to set up the controller to the latest installed firmware version with default settings. This includes the reset of the following data:
- All application data and custom configuration will be removed.
- All network settings will be reset.
- The initial user with administration rights will be reset.
- The controller will be restarted.
This will not affect any data stored on a mounted SD card or the licences stored on the device.

- Prerequisite
- Close all open browser windows of your projects.
- You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
- Click Recovery.
- Click Reset & restart.
- Click Factory reset.
- A dialogue box is opened.
- Click Factory reset.
