Installing an app offline

The CODESYS runtime app can only be installed via an offline installation. The installation file is available in the Weidmüller Support Center.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You are logged in as administrator.
  3. You have opened the u-OS Control Center.
  4. You have downloaded the app for the desired device as .swu file from the Weidmüller Support Center.
  1. Click Apps.
  2. Click Offline installation.
  3. Click Upload file.
  4. A file dialogue is opened.
  5. In the file system, select the desired .swu file.
  6. Click Open.
  1. The installation is started.

Examine whether the tile of the installed app is displayed in the app hub.
