PROCON-Connect 1.3.0¶

Warning

The port for accessing PROCON-Connect has changed. The new port is now 18443.

The system now communicates in encrypted form, i.e. via https instead of http.

The system can therefore be accessed at https://localhost:18443.

Access via http://localhost:16701 is no longer possible.

Features¶

90501: Introduction of role-based user management. Details under User management.
95947: IIoT connectors have been enhanced with a buffering mechanism to prevent data loss in the event of connection interruptions. For details, see Buffering.
96643: Aligned the operating concept of the licensing mechanism. Activation and deactivation are now dialog-driven and accessible via separate entry points in the UI. Details can be found under Licensing with WIBU.

117780: Fixed an issue that prevented client scripts from writing tags.
120663: Fixed an issue that prevented the TIA v2 driver from importing offline in specific project configurations.
109917: Numerous minor adjustments, fixes, and improvements.

If a tag for a driver is imported via the telemetry UI, it does not automatically appear in the tag list. The page must be refreshed, e.g. by pressing F5. Only occurs on u-OS, installations/deployments under Windows and Linux are not affected.
Firmware bug in Siemens 1500 CPUs with firmware 4.0: Frequent connection and disconnection with the PLC visible in the event log. Fix via firmware update from v4.0.4 brings improvement, but does not completely resolve the issue. Further information can be found in the Siemens Release Notes. TIA drivers are therefore not currently approved for firmware v4.x.
The TIA V2 driver does not currently support importing fields from structures. Instead, the driver creates an element for each index.
