PROCON-Connect 1.4.2¶
Versions 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 are internal versions and have not been released.
Warning
The system can therefore be accessed at https://localhost:18443.
Access via http://localhost:16701 is no longer possible.
Features¶
109525: Introduction of the IEC 60870-5-104/101 communication protocol. Both server and client versions are available. For details, see IEC 60870 Server and IEC 60870 Client.
125648: UTF-8 encoding has been added to the Modbus driver.
118166: The TIA driver can import S7 Struct fields.
Fixes & Improvements¶
106953: A problem has been fixed whereby arrays of type Char were not recognised correctly when importing OPC UA tags.
114251: A problem has been fixed whereby, when importing Codesys tags, the connection IP address was used instead of the PLC name.
114247: A problem has been fixed whereby, when importing Codesys tags offline, the PLC name could not be included in the variable names.
122866: A problem has been fixed that caused ports not to be read correctly when using a VPN.
124273: A problem has been fixed whereby MQTT topics were not allowed to start or end with /.
126090: A problem has been fixed whereby an authorisation error was displayed when adding a data logger if there were no tags in the system yet.
118064: A problem has been fixed whereby deleting a data logger did not free up all the storage space.
118868: A problem has been fixed whereby a timestamp could be duplicated when saving time series data sets. The combination of tag ID and timestamp is now unique within a data logger. Any existing data record with the same timestamp is now overwritten, thereby enabling, for example, rolling forecasts that provide progressively detailed forecast values.
114366: Numerous minor tweaks, fixes and improvements.
Known issues¶
If a tag for a driver is imported via the telemetry UI, it does not automatically appear in the tag list. The page must be refreshed, e.g. by pressing F5. Only occurs on u-OS, installations/deployments under Windows and Linux are not affected.
Firmware bug in Siemens 1500 CPUs with firmware 4.0: Frequent connection and disconnection with the PLC visible in the event log. Fix via firmware update from v4.0.4 brings improvement, but does not completely resolve the issue. Further information can be found in the Siemens Release Notes. TIA drivers are therefore not currently approved for firmware v4.x.
