Help system in PROCON-WEB (only SCADA)

PROCON-WEB offers the option of defining your own, project-specific help system. This is intended to enable the (end-) user to resolve any malfunctions himself.The help can also be edited and expanded in the runtime.

equirements in the project

A picture with a help control must be present in the project. The help topics are entered via this help control.In addition, the special function 420 for displaying the help buttons must be called up via a control (button or similar). This will display the help you want.Pictures and dynamic objects for which help is to be available also require a unique help ID.

Configure help topics

To be able to configure the help topics, pictures and dynamic objects for which help should be available require a unique help ID. This assignment is made in the properties of the images or dynamic objects in the designer.In the runtime, the help topics are configured via the HelpControl.

The HelpControl provides the following options:

Calling the help in the runtime

The special function 420 is called via a control. The help symbol then appears on all (partial) images for which help is defined.

Click on the help icon to get help for the image.
